Meet the Robinsons 1

Editor’s Note: Adventurous, silly,  and loving are a few of the words that come to mind when describing the Robinson family. Let’s get to know them in their own words.

As a family, we enjoy traveling and outdoor activities. Most of our free time is spent participating in youth sports-football, basketball, track and baseball.  Steven Robinson is the defensive coordinator of our local youth football team. He’s coached all three of his sons and serves as a mentor to youth in the community. Tiffany stays active within youth sports by volunteering as team mom, and staying active in the Women of Leadership Organization and school activities.

Our oldest child, Micah, attends Woodward Academy and our two youngest attend Seeds of Faith Christian Academy.  We love the diversity of students and competitive education Woodward offers.  Micah Robinson is the starting cornerback and wide receiver for the Woodward War Eagles. One of the best assets of Seeds of Faith Christian Academy is our youngest boys’ involvement in their Christian-based learning and structured atmosphere. As a result, Cannon enjoys reading the children’s Bible every night and our youngest son, Roman loves singing gospel music.  As a couple, we enjoy date night at either Capital Grille, Hal’s Steak House in Buckhead and Mexican restaurant in Atlanta, Nuevo Laredo Cantina.  Our favorite restaurants in South Fulton are located in historic College Park: Noodles, The Pecan and The Brake Pad.

We also enjoy hanging with our friends and hosting social gatherings at our house on weekends. As a family, we have Hawks season tickets and enjoy attending games together. Steven and I work out at Camp Creek LA Fitness and as a family enjoy bike riding on the comet trail.

Aruba and the Bahamas are our favorite family vacation often taken either during spring break or throughout the summer. Last summer we did a large family trip with four other couples from the South Fulton area to Destin Florida.  We rented a huge house and spent seven days of relaxation and fun.  This was one of the best family trips ever!

We love our South Fulton neighborhood and community.  We were around back when the Publix was first built off Camp Creek Parkway.  Steven often reminisces of the fact that this area used to be nothing but trees.  We’ve watched this area grow through the years and would NOT live anywhere else in Atlanta!
