When Love is Golden

The Milners Celebrate 50 Years

Reverend Dr. and Mrs. James Allen Milner are long term residents of Southwest Atlanta. They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage at a lovely event surrounded by a host of relatives and friends. The Milners, who are both natives of Atlanta, met while they were teenagers at the old “dance hall” at Mozley Park. And they have been together ever since. Today, they spend their time still dancing (on occasion), serving God and the community, enjoying family and traveling around the world. In fact their latest trip was a Valentine’s Day get away to Paris, France! When asked about the secret to their long term marriage, they often say it was a strong relationship with God and a lot of “Forgiveness.”
