An amazing event it was, full of some of the most beautiful and powerful African American married couples in Metro Atlanta. They walked in ZuCot Art Gallery, setting the atmosphere on fire. The ambiance of the evening was amazing, and guests could definitely feel the love in the air. The spoken word artist, Kalecia Wright, set the tone of sweet love for the evening, accompanied by cellist Vanessa Fanning of the Orchestra Noir, playing “Georgia On My Mind.” The phenomenal vocalist Phillippia gave us an “experience” like no other as she blew us away with every soulful note; they call her the “Queen of Indie Soul” for a reason.
The food by Chef Malika of Social Butterfly was tantalizing; the grilled lamb chops were tender and downright delicious. Yes, the evening was perfect for married couples… perfect for remembering why they fell in love, perfect for keeping the fire burning and perfect for healing hearts. This event was created in the name of love, purpose and community. We hope to celebrate with you at the BMGATL 2018!
