Head Chef, Sammy Davis, creates unique tastes for guests with his southern twist on “global cuisine.” Chef Davis knows how to alter southern favorites, like shrimp and grits, to transform them into an international experience for your taste buds. But best of all, the food and staff speak for themselves. The Milk and Honey Restaurant was recognized as the Best Brunch and Best New Restaurant 2017 by South Fulton and Chef Sammy Davis won the Food Network’s hit show, “Chopped Redemption.” He also trains a dynamic group of chefs: Chef Marco Morales, Chef Bion Green, Chef Calvin Cooks and Chef Yanjali Newby, all of whom he trusts to deliver his award-winning meals. 

The staff is led by Michelle Moranee and co-owned by Monique Rose Simms, who are very proud of the restaurant’s accomplishments thus far. Since the restaurant’s inaugural year, Chef Davis has worked to create a cozy environment that not only captures the palates of diners, but their hearts as well. When asked about the name of the café and meaning behind it, Chef Davis explained, “The name, as mentioned in the Bible, has symbolized a promise from God for all people. Coming out of poverty, I 100% always believed that God was going to bring me to a place that was flowing with milk and honey. The name means everything to me.
