Benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Jack and Jill Foundation, Inc.
Since its inception, the Greater North Atlanta Chapter (GNAC) of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has shown a commitment to promote leadership development and academic achievement in the lives of children and families in the Atlanta metro area. As a continuation of those efforts, the chapter is excited to host their upcoming chapter fundraiser, “Polo At the Palisades: The Atlanta Polo Classic” currently scheduled for May 20, 1 p.m. -5:30 p.m. which will include a polo match, VIP reception, live concert, Retail Village and Silent Auction. The event will be held at the Atlanta Regional Polo Center, 4563 Polo Lane, Atlanta, GA 30339. Over 500 members of the professional community will gather in support of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and health disparities that affect the lives of children and their families, particularly those of disadvantaged economic status where the financial impact from a health crisis is the greatest. Dr. Contessa McCalfe, Rodney Harrison and Etan Thomas are slated to serve as speakers for the event.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a national non-profit organization of mothers who work to develop effective educational and enrichment programs for future leaders between the ages of 2-19 through legislative advocacy, philanthropic, community-based programming and academic enrichment. In addition, the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc., founded in 1968 was also established to support causes and initiatives that create a strong foundation for children to reach their full potential.
