South Fulton’s Own Posh Pet Pawty Planner Lists Her Favorite Pet Friendly Restaurants and Pup Play Places

Looking for a place to enjoy your summer while spending time with your dog? Atlanta, including South Fulton, has become a very pet-friendly city. Whether it’s taking Fido out for a bite, to the dog park or just out and about for a joy ride around the streets of South Fulton, there is plenty to do. Step one for ensuring that your pup can tag along is going to the website BringFido.com or downloading the application to your smartphone for a more interactive experience. I have been able to identify some pretty good places to take my two dogs to!!

My top three restaurants for them to enjoy while we sit out on the pet-friendly patio are:

The Pig and the Pint – 1583 Virginia Avenue, College Park, GA 30337 • 404.549.2416 • ThePigAndThePintATL.com

Lunch on Main – 3589 Main Street,  College Park, GA 30337 • 404.761.9214 • LunchOnMainStreet.com

Brake Pad – 3403 Main Street, College Park, GA 30337 • 404.766.1515 • BreakPadAtlanta.com

Our favorite places to play and run off some energy:

Canine Crossing Dog Park – 4951 Camp Drive, College Park, GA 30349 • 770.306.3010

This spacious dog park has two fenced-in play areas filled with play tunnels and doggy water fountains.

Peachtree City Dog Park – 193 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269 • 770.502.7946 • PTCDogPark.com

Open from dawn to dusk, this park is managed by the Peachtree City Dog Park Association (501c3) and run by volunteers.

Of course, your area PetSmart, Petco, Lowe’s and Home Depot are dog friendly as long as your pups are on a leash. If you’d prefer not to take your pup with you, you can always bring the pawty to you! Invite a few of their pup friends over and call PawLaps at 678.321.PAWS. Pet pawty planners will come over with organic treats, doggy ice cream, cakes and games/activities. You name the theme and they will make it your pet’s dream—embrace your dog’s inner party animal!!
