Infrastructure Investment Creating Economic Opportunities & Annual Meeting

The ATL Airport Chamber hosted its annual meeting and political leaders, icons, and members gathered at the Georgia International Convention Center College Park to promote, support and get inspired about the economic success and expansion of the airport’s business community. This event brought leaders together from around the world to make Aerotropolis Atlanta the number one area for business prosperity in the U.S. The event highlighted future programs and partnerships, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s multi-billion dollar expansion and 20-year plan aimed at maintaining status as the world’s most traveled airport.

Select vendors lined the exterior walls of the entry gala, sharing valuable information on innovative solutions that support small or large business owners on ensuring quality of products and services and scaling business models.

The opening welcome was curated by John Selden, General Manager, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. LeAndrea Holliday of D. Clark Harris, Inc. graced the stage singing the U.S. National Anthem. Chaplin Adrien Neely of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport led attendees in invocation through prayer and a moment of silence for U.S. Veterans and family members.

The Atlanta Airport Chamber loves to support and incorporate small business owners and small businesses by offering an annual workshop with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The program provides education as it relates to “Doing Business” with its values built on the power of group economics.

Carmenlita Scott, President and CEO, shared with the audience the TAAC goals that were set and met for the Chamber in 2018, including increasing corporate partners, continuing to strengthen strategic partners with the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance, and ongoing support for the “Workforce Development Initiative.”
